Locality of the Municipality of Faenza, situated south of the city.
Description: The old village centre of Santa Lucia lies along the main road before the church, the heart of the neighbourhood. Nothing remains of the original church which dates back to the XI century and there is little news also regarding the church that was demolished in 1939. Inside the current building there are paper mache’ statues by Ballanti-Graziani and an important 19th century wooden altarpiece.
Additional notes: From the exit of the motorway, proceed along Via Granarolo, direction city centre. Turn left after the overpass, following the indications for Forli. Turn right immediately after the bridge (Ponte delle Grazie) into Via Torretta and then into Via Monsignor Cimatti that leads onto the provincial road n. 73 Santa Lucia.
