Itinerary details: Start from Sasso (m. 297 a.s.l.), which is reachable by car. Take the bridle path which winds gently up through the woods to Faggia, where you continue along the bridle path for another 200 m. where it becomes wider and starts going upwards, carved out of chalk until the top of M.te Mauro.
