Itinerary details: By car go to the church Chiesa di Rivacciola, by following the SS 306 which goes from Casola Valsenio to Palazzuolo sul Senio. From here take the trail in front of the square in front of the church. The trail is marked CAI and it winds through nature. After about an hour, take another CAI trail on the right which after about a half hour walk, arrives at a pasture which has at its border a half dilapidated building called “I Monti”. From here you can return taking the same trail or you can descend towards Rio Mercatale across an open field and on the edge of the woods, since it is difficult to distinguish the carriage road, until another half dilapidated building. From here there is a mule track which arrives about halfway along the initial trail.
