Itinerary details: Start from Monte Battagliola which can be reached by car taking the Via Querceto ( on the SS 306 which goes from Casola Valsenio to Riolo Terme, the second left after the Ristorante al Parco). On the right of the paved road, between a house and a hay loft, take the unpaved road which goes up to a trail that crosses the fields and arrives at Ca Budrio. After a gate, go down a hill until you reach the dilapidated Ca Poggio. After about 100 meters, take a paved road which goes to Sasso Letroso. From here you can re-enter Ca Budrio following the CAI trail, or arrive at Furma and go up again towards Ca Sasso di Sotto, Ca Sasso di Sopra and Ca Pradella. Follow the initial part of the trail in the opposite direction to return to Mount Battagliola.
Additional information: Along the trail you will have a splendid view of the valleys through which the Senio river flows.
