With this mountain bike trail you will cross many small woods of oak, and black hornbeams with flowering ash, service trees, and cherry trees. At Monte Romano you will find a rare example of a cerro-sughera Quercu crenata, the only one present in the region.

Apart from the brief section downhill to Piano di Sopra, the route can be followed even when the ground is not dry. At Ca di Malanca, there is the Museo della Resistenza, the restored building has about thirty beds and can host school parties and groups.

Trail from Casola Valsenio, Rive del Cerro, Valdifusa, Monte Cece, Ca Banzuole, Baffadi, Casola Valsenio. This route leads very close to Monte Cece (m. 795), the highest point in the town di Casola Valsenio. This isolated area, which has always remained outside of historic events, in October 1944 was ground for the bloody clash between the Germans and the English, and in the woods you can still see signs of the emplacements of the opposing forces.
