The element of major connotation of the park area is today represented by the large bronze monument dedicated to Valerio Bertozzi, the aviator who died in a plane crash and to whom the park has been dedicated since 2000. The work is by the sculptor Aldo Rontini of Faenza.
Directions: The park has several entrances, the simplest is next to Villa Stacchini about half way down the Avenue in front of the opening of Via Morini. There are other entrances in Via degli Insorti (to the left at the end of the Avenue) through side streets of Via Campana and Via Giuliano da Maiano, or, on the eastern side from Stradello Cappuccini.
