Structure: This farmhouse is situated in the hills  of Brisighella (310 m. above sea level) in the heart of Romagna just a few kilometres from the Tuscany border, on the ancient Etruscan road.
The karst countryside is close to the Carne Natural Park and the chalk ridges of Monte Rontana, the area is full of vineyards and olive trees which produce the famous Sangiovese wine and Brisighella olive oil.
History: The Varnello estate dates back to 1099 when Varnello was a district. In 1242 it became Curia, in 1371 it was a Villa with 37 fireplaces and then became S. Antonio church and then S. Antonio hospital.

Directions: From the A14 motorway take Faenza exit and then proceed along the state road direction Florence, after 12 Km. you reach Brisighella; leave the Florence road and take the road to Riolo Terme up into the hills, after 3 Km. you will pass the restaurant da Mario, turn left into Via Rontana. The Farm house at number 34.
Bologna and Rimini airports at 60Km. Forlì 35 Km.
Faenza station: Milan–Ancona line, Brisighella station Faenza-Florence line.
